DECHRA MAL-A-KET SHAMPOO  is a unique, pleasant-smelling, antifungal, antibacterial, deodorizing, degreasing shampoo. Contains 1% ketoconazole (antifungal) and 2% chlorhexidine (antimicrobial) with 2% acetic acid.

Acetic acid potentiates and stabilizes the ketoconazole and has primary antimicrobial, antifungal properties, as well as excellent degreasing, cleansing and coat-conditioning qualities. This potent combination has a wider antibacterial activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms.

• 1% ketoconazole and 2% chlorhexidine with 2% acetic acid
• Acetic acid (AA) potentiates and stabilizes the ketoconazole
• 2% AA has primary antimicrobial, antifungal properties, as well as excellent degreasing, cleansing and coat conditioning qualities.
• Ketoconazole has excellent antifungal properties
• Chlorhexidine has potent antimicrobial functions: combined with AA, it has a wider antibacterial activity against gram negative and gram positive organisms

How to use : 

Shake Well. Apply to we t coat, rub onto skin and haricoat to create a rich lather. Allow shampoo to remain on skin and coat for 5-10 minutes. Rinse well. Use initially 2-4 times per week for 4 weeks. then reduce to once per week or as directed by veterinarian.

CAUTION: For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If skin irritation develops or increases, stop use and call your veterinarian. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Wash hands after use.
